No, I am not paneled with any insurance companies, and therefore I do not directly bill insurance companies for services. However, many insurance companies will reimburse for therapy with an out-of-network provider, which I am considered. I can provide you with a monthly superbill, which you can then submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
I also use a platform called “Thrizer” that can help you navigate your out of network benefits.

I often tell people that the magic of therapy is in the relationship. At points, therapy will and should feel uncomfortable. It’s important to have a relationship with your therapist that feels safe and supportive. I offer a 20-minute virtual consultation so that you can share more about your interest in therapy, get a feel for me and my approach, ask me questions and ultimately decide if I’m a good fit for your needs.
The therapeutic process always starts with an intensive assessment. During our initial work together, I better understand who are you, how you spend your time and what is bringing you into therapy. This allows me to determine which treatment interventions and modalities will be the most helpful.
Here are some questions to ask me (or another therapist) as you’re working to determine if we would be a good fit:
- What’s your training (what certifications or degrees do you hold)?
- How long have you worked in this field?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different approaches, including medication?
- How does the treatment work?
- How will we assess my progress?
- What should I do if I don’t feel better?
- Do you take insurance? How much should I anticipate treatment cost?
